Welcome to the Incarnate Word Parish's Young Adult Ministry! We are a group of vibrant young professionals who strive to live out our faith in daily life and to share it with others. Our primary goal is to provide a common space for Catholic Young Adults (especially those in West County) to meet and ignite genuine friendships that go well beyond our sanctioned events. We would love to plug you into our thriving community and invite you to join us on our various outings such as Sunday Mass and brunch, sports, dancing, parties in the park, community service, and other social activities. All young adults looking for a good time are welcome here!
Hey it’s Liz, Joseph, and Levi! We graduated from college in May 2021 and were individually seeking Catholic community. We connected through various young adult groups such as Frassati sports and realized that each of us lived close to Incarnate Word. We were growing in genuine friendship and wanted to help others find the same. In December 2022, we felt God calling us to build up the young adult community in West County and this is our response to His call! During our first group outing to the SEEK Conference in January, God placed Acts 2:42 on our hearts. This has been our inspiration for the group as we all strive to live out our faith in daily life. Our brainstorming sessions often go late into the night (and into the morning when Levi doesn’t have work the next day.) We decided to only plan outings that we’d want to do anyway but are enhanced if others join us. From our first Mass and brunch to our first large event to each gathering since, we’ve been blown away by God’s providence! We’ve made so many friendships and witnessed countless others form as well. It has been such a blessing to grow in our relationship with Christ along with others who share the same desire.
"And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers." ~ Acts 2:42
