Matthew 25:35
On the 20th of every month, Incarnate Word parishioners provide food and volunteers that cook and serve approx.150 meals. These homemade meals are served to the residents of the shelter, as well as to families and individuals in the Soulard area, who may be on limited or fixed incomes. Parishioners of all ages and families are welcome to volunteer on the 20th of every month. Jobs include cooking, serving, cleaning up after serving, or visiting with the guests. This is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and giving of your time to help those in need. You are guaranteed to feel good when you leave!
* If the 20th of the month is a weekday (Mon. through Friday), servers arrive at 4:15pm and serve Dinner from 5pm-5:45pm. We are all finished by 6:15pm.
* When the 20th of the month is on a weekend (Sat. or Sun.), servers arrive at 11:15am and Lunch is served 12:00pm-12:45pm. Finished by 1:15pm.
Volunteers should park in the fenced and secure Meals Hall parking lot, which is diagonally opposite from the church. The meals are served in the Sts. Peter & Paul's Meals Hall, 816 Allen Ave, St. Louis, MO 63104.
