Confirmation is a Catholic sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of the baptismal gift of the Holy Spirit. Any baptized person who freely asks for and receives this sacrament receives, through the Holy Spirit, the strength to witness to God’s love and might in word and deed.

Preparation for this sacrament typically happens in eighth grade, either as part of Incarnate Word School's curriculum, the Parish School of Religion (for students who attend public school) or special sessions in the spring semester (for students who attend private Catholic schools unattached to a parish). Private school students should register using the forms below, and all parents should plan to attend a parent meeting in the fall.

Our parish FORMED subscription can help you develop your own theology and relationship with the Holy Spirit. "The Wild Goose" is an ancient Celtic term for the Holy Spirit, and Franciscan Fr. Dave Pivonka explores that. Click the picture to go there, or here if you need to register for FORMED first.
