Parish School Religion
PSR (Parish School of Religion) is the religious education program for students in kindergarten through 8th grade, and includes Sacramental preparation for a student's first Reconciliation, Eucharist (2nd grade) and Confirmation (8th grade).
Children of families registered in the parish are welcomed and encouraged to participate in any of our classes. If your family is registered in another parish, your pastor has canonical responsibility for your children's faith formation, and we will need a note or letter of "delegation" from him of that responsibility.
Regular PSR classes are offered on Monday evenings from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM, beginning with Mass the Monday before Labor Day and concluding the Monday before Memorial Day.

PSR Tuition & Fees

PAYMENT
Please include complete the registration/supply fee with the registration form. In August, please submit complete tuition payment. Make checks payable to Incarnate Word Parish. There is also a credit card reader in the office which we are authorized to use for PSR tuition. If you would like to pay by CC, we just ask that you also cover the 2.9% transaction fee.If these fees are a financial burden, please contact the coordinator at 314-576-5366 ext. 26, or Fr. Schroeder.

Safe Touch Materials
The Archdiocese requires Safe Touch Curriculum to be presented in the first quarter of the PSR year. Parents are welcome to preview the materials for themselves - please contact the Director of Religious Education. If you request an Opt-Out form, a parent curriculum will be provided so that you can cover this material at home..
