We’re so glad you’re here and that you’re interested in learning more about Catholicism. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is an information and discernment process you can enter into; in which you learn about various aspects of the Catholic faith.
- Enrollment in the program does not require a commitment to join the Church.
- You will have the opportunity to decide whether or not you wish to move forward after learning about the faith and going through a discernment process.
- Please call or email our Director of Religious Education, Nicole Vonder Haar ([email protected]) to discuss, or fill out the inquirer form below (again, filling out the inquiry form does not require a commitment to become Catholic).

Part of the discernment process includes a weekly discussion of the Sunday readings and small group discussion on assigned videos, which takes place on Sunday mornings.
What if I’m not yet ready to inquire about OCIA? Perhaps you aren’t ready to enroll in OCIA and would prefer to speak to someone privately about a particular concern, that is absolutely fine! Call the parish office at 314-576-5366 ext. 26 to set up a time to meet. Please don’t let anything prevent you from learning more about the love and mercy of Jesus Christ available to you through the Catholic faith.
