"To be a Christian, to have received Holy Baptism, must not be looked upon as something of negligible importance. It must be something which thrills the baptized person to the very core of his being. "
Pope Paul VI, Ecclesium Suam 39
Congratulations on the new life that has joined your family! Please let us know immediately if you desire baptism for your child. In this beautiful sacrament, your infant’s original sin will be removed, he or she will be filled with sanctifying grace, and the Church will welcome your baby into the family of God.
To schedule a baptism please complete the form below. Incarnate Word requires a baptism preparation class for the first child baptised. Classes are coordinated by calling the Parish Office at 314-576-5366 or calling/texting Deacon Funke 314.920.8138.
Below is a "Keeping the Light of Faith Burning" resource for parents and godparents with concrete ways to share the Catholic faith with your child as they grow older.
