I have been privileged to be a part of the staffs at St. Peter School and St. Gerard Majella School, both in Kirkwood. My husband, Michael, and I live in Kirkwood and have four children. I enjoy gardening, bicycling, and traveling. My Goals as the Learning ConsultantThis is my fourth year serving as the Learning Consultant at Incarnate Word. My primary goal as the Learning Consultant is to provide support and guidance to the Incarnate Word Parish School community as we strive to meet the needs of the diverse learners in the classroom. I believe that everyone can learn, but that each person’s path towards acquiring that learning may be different. I assist the teachers in providing instruction and learning activities in the classroom that help all types of learners meet success and grow academically, socially and emotionally. On occasion, I also consult with parents as they encourage their children to reach their potential. Finally, I sometimes directly work with students to help them discover, understand, and practice what enables them to do their best and succeed. |
