About The NurseThis is my seventh year at Incarnate Word. I was a substitue school nurse in the Fort Zumwalt School District before coming to Incarnate Word. Before that I worked in geriatric nursing at Mother Of Good Counsel Home,and I worked in skilled nursing at Barnes-St. Peter's Hospital. I also was charge nurse in the Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency Unit at Barnes-St. Peter's and worked in their Partial/Day Mental Health Program. I taught classes and counseled patients and families. I performed assessments in the emergency
room and depression screenings for the public. In addition, I worked as a staff nurse in the Adolescent Psychiatric Unit at Care Unit Hospital and as a staff nurse in the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit at Christian Hospital Northwest. At Christian Hospital I also worked in their Adolescent and Geriatric units. I enjoy my time here at Incarnated Word. I feel I am spending my days with friends. I enjoy the interaction with the children and I hope I make a difference in their day when they are injured or not feeling well or maybe just need a little TLC. I am married to Tim and I have two wonderful daughters, Brigid and Mary Margaret, a great son-in-law, Michael, and two beautiful grandsons, Patrick and Luca. During my spare time I try to see Patrick, family and friends often. We are very "available" babysitters. Tim and I like to travel - to Ireland when we can, and if that is not possible Then we go to Irish festivals and concerts.
