Before School Drop Off Procedures:
- All vehicles (from east or
west) enter parish property at the traffic signal.
- Turn right at south end of
the rectory.
- Turn left at northwest
corner of church.
- Proceed to lower parking
lot.
- Vehicle queue forms along
the west edge of the parking lot and left parallel to Athletic Field.
- Queue vehicles move forward
as far as possible.
- Stop.
- Drop
off begins no sooner than 8:00am.
Students are to remain in their vehicles until teacher supervisors
are present.
(If
you arrive earlier than 8:00am, please park and wait in the Upper lot.)
- Children exit your vehicle.
(Instruct children to cross in front of your vehicle.)
- Do not park in the lower
lot. If you have to park proceed to the upper lot.
- Never pass any vehicles in
the line in front of you, no matter what.
- After the vehicle in front
of you has moved forward and all children from your vehicle are safely
away from your vehicle and are walking to the assembly areas, you may
move forward to begin exit.
- All vehicles emerging from
behind the school and the Kent
Center should
proceed up the east drive.
Those turning right (east) onto Olive should stop at the stop sign
and then proceed. Those
intending to go west on Olive should turn left (west) into the last
parking lot row just before Olive, continue to the west end of the
parking lot, turn left (south), then make a right turn out of the
parking lot and onto the main driveway, and proceed up to the traffic
signal. Having westbound
drivers “meander” through the upper parking lot before
exiting prevents traffic from jamming up all the way to the back parking
lot.
- Students are not considered
tardy if they arrive before 8:20am.
Students arriving after 8:20am will have to be dropped off at the
front of school. (Cones
placed between the southeast corner of the rectory and the church will indicate
it is 8:20am and will indicate it is now time to drop students off at
the front of school. These
students must stop and check in at the school office.
- If you arrive after the
cones have been placed, please pull into the semi-circular drive in
front of the school. Please
pull forward all the way to the Kent Center
curb to prevent other late arrivals from backing up traffic.
After School Parking Procedures: Upper Lot, West Lot, Late
Upper
Lot Procedure (Turning Left to go west on Olive) - see Upper Lot map (Adobe Acrobat Required)
Arrival for Pickup
Procedure
- Cars entering the property from
the east or from the west will use the traffic light entrance.
- All vehicles will enter
their assigned spots facing South. Pull forward if you are first to
arrive.
- Vehicles assigned to spaces
24-1 and 91 – 94 should back into those spaces.
All cars on upper lot use the traffic light and exit left (west)
onto Olive.
Exit
Procedure (Refer to map for flow directions):
- Once all students are
safely loaded, school staff will give the signal to begin exiting.

When present, after-care school busses will exit first.
·
Section A (see map) exits first beginning with
#123/105, followed by 124/104, etc.
·
Section B exits next after #91 beginning with
#71/54, then 72/53, etc.
·
Section C exits last, following #34, and
beginning with #24, then 23, etc.
Lower
Lot Procedure - see Lower Lot map (Adobe

Arrival for Pickup
Procedure
- Cars entering the property
from the east or from the west will use the traffic light entrance.
- All cars parking on the lower
lot will exit via the NE corner of the athletic field.
- Cars in #1-5 back in to
their spaces
- Cars in #18-50 and #6-17
enter facing the school and pull forward if you are the first to arrive
- Cars in #51-89 must back in
All cars on lower lot use the east drive and exit right (east) onto
Olive.
Exit
procedure (Refer to map for flow directions):
- Once all the students are
safely loaded, school staff will give the signal to begin exiting.
- #1-5 exits first
- #6-17 exits next
- #32-50 exits next
- #51-72 exits next
- #78-93 exits Last
Late
Pickup Procedure
Once the bell rings at
3:10 p.m. or 12:00PM for early dismissal, no cars will be allowed to enter
the parking areas. If you are late, your child will go to and remain with the
teachers on duty.
Late cars for BOTH
the UPPER and the LOWER parking lots will pick up their children in the back
of school on the LOWER lot. When the dismissal bell rings at 3:10 and the cones go
down on the entry lanes, all late drivers will form a queue to the lower
parking lot area, stop and will remain in line. After all other students are
safely in their cars, late cars will be directed to move forward toward the
lower church tunnel area near the school building. All late vehicles will
pick up their students from this queue in the lower parking lot. Students
from the Lower lot being picked up late will remain at the rear of school
near the tunnel leading to the lower church hall. Students from the Upper lot
being picked up late will be escorted to the rear of the school near the
lower church hall tunnel and will also be picked up there. Students may not
approach or enter vehicles in the late line until the line has stopped and
the teacher on duty gives them the signal. Late cars will receive the signal
to leave as soon as the back lot has been cleared. Drivers arriving after
3:20pm will have come around to the front of the building, park, and come to
the school office to pick up their students.
