Incarnate Word is joining other non-profit organizations from coast to coast by using a gift certificate program, to supplement our funds! The basis of this incredible program is the normal shopping habits of our parishioners - nothing more! You can now support your parish by doing nothing more than normal household shopping!

Questions & Answers

Q: How does the program work?

• You purchase a gift certificate directly from Incarnate Word that can be used the same as cash at your favorite local and nationally franchised retailers, restaurants and supermarkets. By buying from us, Incarnate Word will receive a donation of up to 10% or more of the face value of the certificate. In this way local and national merchants are giving back to the communities that support them each and every day.

Q: Where and when can I purchase certificates?

• Certificates will be sold in the school lobby on Sunday mornings from 9:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. They will also be available at the parish office between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. during the week. Certificates can also be obtained through the school Friday folder.

Q:Will I receive my certificates right away or will I have to wait to receive them at a later date.

• Certificates listed on the "on hand" order form will be available for immediate pick up. Many additional merchants can be ordered.
  
  To order certificates for merchants not on-hand, an order form will need to be turned in, along with payment by Sunday at 12:15 p.m.. Your certificates will then be ready for pick-up the following weekend.

Q: if I place the same order every week, can it be ready for me to pick up?

• Absolutely, we would love to set up a standing order for you. For example, if you always need $100 of Dierbergs & $10 of Dominoes (for the Friday night pizza), a Shell card and some Starbucks certificates: we can make that your standing order. Each week (or other frequency), the same order will be ready and waiting for you. We have an express line for all standing orders for faster service.

• The potential for this program to generate funds for our parish is phenomenal! Especially when you consider that you do not have to buy any product that you do not want.
  
  If 200 families purchase $100 of grocery certificates each week of the year, with a merchant donation of 5%, Incarnate Word would raise $52,000 a year. And that is just for grocery certificates. When you add on certificates for restaurants and retailers – the sky is the limit!

Q: What will the funds be used for?

• All proceeds from the Gift Certificate Program will used to pay off parish debt.
