Haiti Disaster ReliefOur hearts and prayers go out to the people of Haiti who suffered devastation by the terrible earthquake. It is hard to comprehend the destruction to a country that suffers so much already. I urge your continued prayers on behalf of the earthquake victims and their families. A Second Collection was taken up at all Masses this past weekend (Jan. 16/17) to assist in disaster relief for Haiti. We will continue to forward any donations we receive in the coming weeks to the Archdiocese. Checks should be made out to Incarnate Word and we will forward the money to the Archdiocese who will forward it to Catholic Relief Services. You can bring donations to the Parish Office or put them in the Offertory basket in the future. Please make sure that these checks are in an envelope labeled “Haiti”.
