Pray for PeaceSharon Ditch, Catechist and last year’s eighth grade PSR class took on a project to pray for our U.S. soldiers in Iraq. They promised to pray for them, for peace, and for our enemies, as Jesus has asked us to do. They also sent an American flag to our troops. Chris Mentz, 3rd BN 10th Special Forces group returned the flag to the class. He shared that the flag was flown from July 21st until August 6th over fob Zulu, which is just outside Suwayrah, Iraq. This same flag was flown over Incarnate Word on Veteran’s Day this week (shown above).
