Christmas Giving Tree Ministry

| Print |

This ministry comes together once each year to make Christmas happier for others in need.  For Christmas 2007, over 700 ornaments were decorated by our parishioners.  These were hung on the Christmas Giving Tree  - with care - hoping wonderful parishioners would be there.  And they were!  Ornaments were taken off the tree and gifts were returned and given to the children of St. Frances Cabrini Academy, Wellston Center, and St. Vincent DePaul.

This is truly a ministry that EVERYONE can take part in, whether you assist in the creation of the ornament or pick it from the tree and shop for that individual or organization.  This is a wonderful "feel good" endeavor, knowing that YOU are making Christmas brighter for someone.

Christmas 2008 - Ornaments waiting to be decorated may be picked up during the Festival of Ministries, September 20th-21st.
