Game Day for Special Needs

The disAbility Ministry would like to invite all parishioners with special needs, including their families and friends, to a 'Game Day' on Sunday August 31st from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the lower church hall.  If you would like to attend, please call Dianne Marshak at 314-302-0595 or email her at dianne.marshak@yahoo.com .  There will be all types of board games and cards to play.  Refreshments will be served.  This is an opportunity to socialize and have fun at the same time.  We look forward to seeing you.

Parish Guidebook & Directory

Many of you have received your 2014 Incarnate Word Guide Book and Directory in the mail. This book is a handy and valuable resource that contains not only parishioners’ names and phone numbers but also helpful information regarding our parish.  Due to the generosity of our local merchants, the printing and mailing of the Guidebook is free to the parish. I ask that if possible please support the sponsors that have placed ads.  The mailing also contain your yearly intention card, which can be filled out and returned in the Offertory basket. Thank you.

Congratulations Mike!

The Archdiocese of St. Louis recognizes and appreciates the important role of the media in our local community. The winners of the Second Annual Archbishop Robert J. Carlson Excellence in Communication Award, Wendy Wiese and Mike Roberts, were honored at a ceremony with Archbishop Carlson this past week. Mike is a parishioner of Incarnate Word and Meteorologist at KSDK News Channel 5. As influencers of any message that is being communicated to a mass audience, we wish to say Thank You to Mike as he inspires positive change in response to the significant issues facing our society today.

Prayers for our Neighbors in Ferguson
