Spiritual Direction Available at Incarnate Word

Spiritual Direction within the Christian tradition is the act/practice of one Christian helping another along in their spiritual journey by “sacred listening” that is, by listening with the heart to one person’s story and helping that person to reflect on how God is moving and acting in their life. One-on-one, hour-long meetings are usually scheduled once a month.   The spiritual director promises to ensure confidentiality of everything discussed.  Provided by parishioners Steve Givens and Lucia Signorelli, one-on-one spiritual direction is available by appointment and at times convenient to both director and directee. Stipends are set on an individual basis and are on a sliding scale. Both Steve and Lucia received their training in spiritual direction from the Aquinas Institute of Theology and are members of Spiritual Directors International and the St. Louis Spiritual Directors Forum. For more information on either director, or to inquire about setting an appointment, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. You might simply like to schedule a no-commitment conversation with Steve or Lucia to inquire more about spiritual direction.

Life in the Spirit

In anticipation of Pentecost, Incarnate Word will be hosting a 6 week  Life in the Spirit Seminar on Tuesdays from 7-9pm April 7-May 19 in the Kent Center. Through the Gospel message we will learn about awakening more fully the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit and the impact that can have on our lives. Through the power and working of the Holy Spirit we are able share with others the presence of God in our lives.
