The Incarnate Word Respect Life Committee will be conducting their annual campaign the weekend of July 26-27. By being a “Friend for Life” you demonstrate your commitment to respect and protect all human life, especially the most vulnerable of our brothers and sisters as the Gospel of Life calls us to do. Your gift will help save the lives of unborn babies by providing material and emotional support for women experiencing crisis pregnancies. It will heal those who suffer as a result of abortion through Project Rachel counseling. Your gift will educate eighth grade students and their parents about the reality of abortion through the Right START program. Thank you for your generous support of this campaign.

“Lift Up Your Hearts: The Eucharist as a Sacrament of Love”

Save the Date: Monday, August 18, 2014 here at Incarnate Word for a lecture by Timothy O’Malley, Ph.D, Director of the Center for Liturgy at the University of Notre Dame. The title of the lecture is “Lift Up Your Hearts: The Eucharist as a Sacrament of Love” and discussion will focus on the question, “Can you really be Catholic without going to Mass?” Tim will use theology, humor, and the wisdom of the great saints in order to tackle the question of how our participation in Mass relates to our participation in the Church. This lecture is being offered in partnership with St. Anselm Parish and Christ, Prince of Peace Parish.
