Pope John XXIII & Pope John Paul II

Sunday April 27 is a great day for the Church as She welcomes two new saints– John XXIII and John Paul II- into the Church calendar. For many of us both new saints lived within our lifetime. Like all saints, these men led very holy lives and had inspiring relationships with Christ, but as popes they also had a great impact upon our modern Church.  EWTN Global Catholic Network will provide televised coverage of the canonization events in Rome. The canonization Mass is scheduled to air live at 2:30 a.m. St. Louis time April 27, with encores to air at 6 p.m. April 27 and again at 10 p.m. Monday, April 28. EWTN also will have other coverage of the events throughout the weekend. The Review will include ongoing coverage of the canonizations at www.stlouisreview.com/canonization. Visit this page for localized coverage of the canonization, a live stream of the Mass of thanksgiving in St. Louis April 27, and reaction on social media.
