St. Patrick Center Back to School Backpack GiveawayThis year Incarnate Word is once again asking for your support for the St. Patrick Center "Back to School" Backpack Giveaway Program, which helps needy children prepare for the coming school year. To participate, we ask that you pick up a tag from the table in the Church vestibule. When you've completed your school supply shopping, simply tie the tag on to your backpack and bring it to the Parish Office by Monday, August 3rd. Parish School of Religion RegistrationIncarnate Word's Parish School of Religion offers religious instruction to the youth of our parish in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade on Monday evenings during the school year from 6:30pm-7:45pm. Registration for the 2009-2010 year is underway. |

Echoes of Faith Catechist FormationWe are implementing the Echoes of Faith Catechist Formation pragram beginning this August, 2009 which will be facilitated by the Office of Religious Education and our Catechists. Segments include: Getting Started As A Catechist; The Person and Roles of a Catechist; Introduction to the Learner. In addition, there will be future workshops on Age-Appropriate Methodology, Introduction to Scripture, Catholic Morality and Liturgy and the Sacraments. Initially the program will meet onMonday evenings and Saturday mornings. |
